Serenity confirmed for Brainstorm Festival

With Serenity another interesting name has been added to the line-up of Brainstorm Festival. The band from Austria will hit the stage on Saturday 4 November. Besides enjoying some great music this is a good opportunity to get some extra history-lessons.

When it comes to the lyrics of Serenity it’s all about history. That doesn’t come as a surprise when you know that vocalist Georg Neuhauser is a history-teacher. But his students doesn’t get their lessons packed so nicely. Serenity has become one of the better symphonic power-metal bands in Europe, and for sure is considered of the favourites for many metalfans.

Earlier we already confirmed Extol (progressive death-metal) and Xandria (symphonic metal) for the 16th edition of Brainstorm Festival, that will take place on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 November in Podium Gigant in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. Besides concerts on the mainstage there is a theaterstage for (acoustic) performances and band-interviews. The festival also offers an exposition, beer tasting sessions and a small cd-market.
